What a day! Our very first Monterey Grain Festival was a beautiful celebration of bread, community, and tradition. From the high-energy “Butter Aerobics” and the delicious communal bread tasting to the pumpkin rolling and flying apples, the energy at the MCC was incredible.
A massive thank you to Kevin West and Trevor Hurst for sharing their expertise and passion, and to the Monterey Cultural Council for their generous support in bringing this event to life. Whether you entered the “Brewer’s Stewers” cook-off or simply enjoyed a warm slice of fresh bread, thank you for making our first festival such a success!
