Host Your Event at the MCC​

The Monterey Community Center is a versatile and welcoming space available for birthday parties, meetings, weddings, and community gatherings. We are proud to offer the center to our neighbors and visitors alike.

Rental Information & Fees

  • Monterey Residents: There is no charge for Monterey residents to use the space, provided the center is cleaned and restored to its original condition after the event.

  • Non-Residents: For those joining us from out of town, there is a $50 rental fee.

Planning Your Event

To ensure your event runs smoothly, please follow these steps:

  1. Check Availability: Review our Online Calendar to see if your preferred date and time are available.

  2. Alcohol Permits: If you plan to serve beer or wine, a one-day alcohol permit from the Town of Monterey Select Board is required. We recommend starting this process at least 45 days in advance. You can find instructions and the application form the Town of Monterey website here.

  3. Submit a Request: For all events, we require a completed and signed Community Center Use Request Form. This document provides us with the essential details of your event and outlines our General Information and Expectations for use of the space.
