Mushroom Walk With John Wheeler

Huge thanks to John Wheeler for leading our annual Mushroom Walk this year!

We lucked out with perfect weather for our hike at Bob’s Way. John shared his deep knowledge of fungi and helped us discover some fascinating, beautiful, and even tasty mushroom varieties that thrive in our local ecosystem.

As the founder of the Berkshire Mycological Society with over 30 years of experience identifying wild fungi, John made the afternoon both educational and fun — a real treat for everyone who came out.
