DESCRIPTION:Date and Time: Wednesday\, June 3\, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM \nLocation: Monterey Community Center \nDescription: Join us for an introspective breathwork session designed to support deep inner awareness\, emotional release\, and nervous system regulation. Using a rhythmic breathing technique\, you’ll be invited to turn your attention inward\, allowing the mind to quiet and the body to process and release stored tension. \nThis immersive experience can open the door to insight\, clarity\, and a deeper connection with yourself. Mindfulness practices will be woven throughout to help ground and integrate the experience. No prior breathwork or meditation experience is necessary. \nParticipants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat\, pillow\, blanket\, and an eye mask if you have one to support a more internal\, distraction-free experience. \nAdditional Information: \nFacilitator: Chip Killingsworth\, Certified Breathwork Facilitator (One Breath Institute) and Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (MMTCP) \nCost: Suggested donation: $15 – $25 \nRegistration: Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. REGISTER HERE \nImportant Note: Participants will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival. The band features longtime Monterey resident Marshall Messer on blues harmonica\, Rich Rosenblatt\, Rik Kirkland\, and David Wander on guitar\, and Tom Nathan on keyboards. Their music explores original and traditional ballads and blues with occasional forays into rhythm & blues\, Motown and rock. If you enjoy roots music or need a shot of rhythm & blues\, the DCMB will not disappoint.
